LICENSED-MACHINE BUYER GUIDE

Before buying a Silent Hill machine

The Silent Hill title on these identified Japanese cabinets is attached to a reel-based pachislot machine, not a steel-ball pachinko playfield. Seller headlines sometimes blur those terms. Inspect the reel window and controls before buying.

Two independent Japanese sellers describe usable coinless machines. The earlier listings differ in shipping, accessories and the reliability of volume control. A collector should compare the exact cabinet, not just its horror franchise artwork.

BUYER INSPECTION

Silent Hill collector checklist

  1. Request a video showing the actual Silent Hill cabinet booting and all reels, lights and audio working.
  2. Check whether the seller includes door and setting keys, the power configuration, coinless conversion and packaging.
  3. One example has a fragile volume knob and spare parts noted; check the actual item description before comparing.

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

Answers before you order

Is Silent Hill a pachinko machine?

These specific full-cabinet offers are pachislot machines with reels, although seller listings may use the word pachinko.

Is coinless already installed?

The cited sellers state that it is. Ask for a demonstration of the exact unit.

Why do two offers cost different amounts?

Seller condition, configuration, shipping and taxes vary. Compare final delivered price rather than a single displayed number.
