FRANCHISE BUYER GUIDE

What makes this collection different?

Fist of the North Star is commonly listed under its Japanese name, Hokuto no Ken. Listings span different Sammy and other generations, and the cabinet artwork alone will not tell you which board, reel system or home-use conversion it has.

A verified $999 Sammy 100V listing sold on October 16, 2026. It remains useful as a historical comparison, but should not be featured as a currently purchasable machine. Start with the other individually identified options and verify all seller claims at checkout.

INSPECT BEFORE PAYING

Collector checklist for Fist of the North Star

  1. Jagi-panel and New Legend Creation are not interchangeable versions. Record the machine model and cabinet panel before comparing offers.
  2. The historical Jagi-panel listing showed $400 shipping; the New Legend example showed much less. Compare delivered totals, not just item prices.
  3. On coin-free pachislot, confirm the conversion really works and the seller supplies door and setting keys.

Questions worth asking

Why does the same franchise have several different cabinets?

Pachislot releases span generations and variants, including alternative character panels and new game systems. Exact model is essential.

Is the $999 Sammy listing still available?

No. eBay displayed it as sold on October 16, 2026. It is included only for historical context.

What should an anime collector request?

Ask for a video of a full game cycle, cabinet serial and model label, power information, and a complete accessory list.

CONDITION BEFORE HYPE

Budget for the delivered machine

Ask for a full power-on demonstration, exact included keys and equipment, electrical information, return terms and insured shipping. The asking price is only one part of the cost.
