Moving a pachinko machine safely is mostly about controlling weight, glass and loose mechanisms. Treat it more like a delicate arcade cabinet than a box of household goods.
Before lifting
Remove loose balls and detachable accessories that could move inside the cabinet. Close and secure doors normally. Photograph the machine so you can confirm how trays, handles and rear mechanisms were positioned before transport.
Use enough people and the right equipment
The exact weight varies, so do not plan a one-person carry from an internet estimate. A hand truck, moving blankets and a second capable person can be far cheaper than repairing a dropped cabinet or injured back.
Keep it stable
A machine should not be allowed to slide, tip or bear weight on protruding trim. Protect cabinet corners and keep glass from taking point loads. In a vehicle, secure the machine so sudden braking cannot turn it into a projectile.
After the move
Set the machine on its stable stand, inspect for shifted parts or damage, and make sure any external power equipment and ball-return accessories are reconnected as documented. If something electrical was damaged during the move, leave it unplugged until inspected.
